Recording guidelines
What makes a useful video
- Film in landscape at table height, with good, even lighting.
- Record from directly behind the cue (down the line) and from the side.
- Include 10–15 straight-in shots, 10 stop shots and a few shots you find difficult.
- Keep the whole body and the cue ball in frame.
- Total footage of around 3–5 minutes is usually enough.
Deliverables
What you receive
- A structured written assessment of observable technique.
- Two to four prioritised improvement points, in order.
- A practice plan using scored drills, with targets to retest against.
Assessments cover what's visible on video. They can't diagnose injuries or anything off camera.
