10-ball

Also called: Ten ball

What is the difference between 9-ball and 10-ball?

10-ball is a rotation game like 9-ball, played with balls 1 to 10, but every shot is call shot and pocketing the 10 on the break does not win — it is spotted. That makes it harder and less luck-dependent than 9-ball.

In more detail

Because shots are called, slop does not count, so the game rewards precise position and safety play. The extra ball also makes the break less likely to run out.

People also ask
