Hanger
Also called: Duck, Sitter, Cinch
What is a hanger in pool?
A hanger is an object ball sitting at the edge of a pocket — almost impossible to miss. 'Duck' and 'sitter' mean the same; the challenge is getting the right cue-ball position off it.
In more detail
Hangers are also great insurance and key balls because you can use them to recover position. Players still miss them by not paying attention — run your routine anyway.
